"Diggerly-Do’s" is Kent Minault's story of his involvement in the explosive first six months of the San Francisco Diggers.  It's a coming-of-age tale about a young man (Minault describes himself as a "nerdy college kid") whose search for an acting career in the late '60's brought him into the San Francisco Mime Troupe, then and now the nation's premiere radical theatre company, and into the company of some of the most dynamic and influential people of the time, including Tim Leary, Huey Newton, Peter Coyote, Emmett Grogan, Lenore Kandel, Richard Brautigan and Gary Snyder.  His chronicle charts the first Digger free food in the park, several street events in the Haight-Ashbury, tense encounters with the police, a first-hand account of the famous Invisible Circus at Glide Memorial Church, and the opening of the Digger Free Store.  The yarn is accompanied by images from the time including photographs by Digger Chuck Gould, and also music by Peter Coyote written at the time. The evening chronicles a turning point in San Francisco and the transformation of a young man into a life-long activist.  "Diggerly-Do's" is a production of JACK, a Los Angeles producing ensemble.
