Kevin Douglas (playwright) Kevin is a member of the Regional Tony Award-winning company, Lookingglass Theatre, where his play Thaddeus and Slocum: A Vaudeville Adventure (Black Theatre Alliance Award for playwrighting), and Plantation!, directed by David Schwimmer, had their world premieres. His short plays Cautiously Optimistic and Chickens Be Roostin’ were in Lower Depth Theatre’s Pandemic Play Festival and the BIPOC Voting Plays Festival, respectively. Kevin is part of the CTG 25/26 LA Writer’s Workshop, where he is developing a brand new play. He is the creator, writer, and an EP of an independent comedy series titled Messy Lola, shooting in Chicago, and will be out early 2026. Untitled Vampire Play will be produced at Lookingglass Theatre in the summer of 2026.
